Wheelbase: 102” Engine No. 4003198 This right hand drive Aston Martin DB6 is painted in silver birch with a dark blue interior was very recently treated to a complete, quality restoration by Classic Showcase in Oceanside, California. During the restoration process, the DB6 was stripped down to bare metal, the body was worked and fitted, it was then painted, color sanded and buffed. Classic Showcase’s upholstery department reupholstered the entire car, which included a new headliner, new leather seats, carpets, panels and dash components. Complementing the all new exterior and interior are a host of original features that include the radio, power assisted steering, heated rear screen, wire wheels and all emblems. The mechanical portion of the restoration was just as thorough as the cosmetic, with every component serviced, rebuilt or replaced as needed to ensure that the Aston Martin would perform as well as it looks. This extensive service included rebuilding the transmission, the hydraulic system, the fuel system and the cooling system, a major tune-up was performed, all new bushings were installed in the suspension and a new exhaust system was fitted. A DVD movie documenting the restoration process is available upon request.
