Wright

Wright is the premier auction house specializing in modern and contemporary design. Since 2000 we have sold nearly 20,000 lots across the spectrum of 20th and 21st century design. We have pioneered whole fields of collecting and transformed the market for modern design. Our dedication to design drives what we do and who we are.

Jacqueline Kennedy completed the following eight sketches as she waited to be interviewed for Look Magazine in 1961. Each work depicts an event or occurrence during the political career of her husband, President John F. Kennedy.

Gifted to the president of Cowles Communications and Look Magazine following the interview, the works have remained in his family collection until now.
