Wright has outlined steps about shipping and removal to assist you in your final stages of your auction experience. All third-party shippers, listed on next page, receive an illustrated catalog prior to the auction. Each shipping company can provide an estimate prior to the sale, if needed. If you are a successful bidder, contact the shipping company of your choice with the following information:
- (1) Buyer’s name - The name on your auction invoice MUST match the name on the shipper’s freight bill. If it does not match, we will need a signed release letter faxed to us at 312.563.0040, in order to release your items to a shipper with a different name on their bill - example: your client’s name, business partner, or relative.
- (2) Auction date
- (3) Lot number(s)
- (4) Ship-to address
- (5) Insured value

The shipping companies you contact will provide an estimate for your review.
Upon your contractual approval with the shipping company, they will contact
Wright to schedule the pick up of your items. It is the client’s responsibility
to initiate the shipping process with a shipping vendor.
Follow the link below to a list of shippers that will provide estimated quote based on shipping destination, size, shipping method, and insured value. Please let the shipping company know if you have any specific requests concerning special handling, crating, or self-insurance. In addition, payment must be received in full at Wright before any item is released to a shipper. All auction items must be removed from Wright within 30 days after the sale. Storage charges may apply as outlined in the terms and conditions of sale. All international shipments will include a Proforma Invoice including purchase prices of all items shipped.
Clients are advised that packing and shipping of property by any employee of Wright is undertaken solely as a courtesy; and in the case of fragile articles, will be undertaken at our sole discretion. A handling or boxing fee will be applied to any item wrapped by Wright. Furthermore, Wright will have to decline most requests for in-house shipping due to liability and other limitations.
Wright and R. Wright, Inc. shall have no liability for any damage to property left on its premises after the date of the sale.
