walnut veneer plywood, chrome-plated steel, rubber
34 w × 16 h in (86 × 41 cm)
This table is a rare pre-production example of the coffee table with metal legs (CTM). It features three legs and rubber shock mounts, details not included in the final design. In mid-1946 the early three-legged version that was included in the Eames' three New York City showings of their low-cost plywood furniture was replaced with the four-legged coffee table.
