Artisans in Glass
Under Max Ingrand’s direction at Fontana Arte, collaborative works among designers and artists thrived. Some of the most beautiful collaborative works of the 1950s and 1960s included the painter and artist Duilio Bernabè (Dubé); Dubé added expressive decoration to tabletops and lamps by directly painting on or carving glass. This iconic chandelier designed by Max Ingrand features six glass details hand-chiseled by Dubé.
