Ingrid Dessau

Following her education, Ingrid Dessau (1923-2000) worked as freelance artist creating textile designs featuring simple, modern and elegant patterns. Her work debuted in 1953 in an exhibition at Galerie Moderne and was widely admired. Throughout her career, she worked with many organizations including Hemslöjden, Kristianstad, the Kastalls Mattfabrik, and Kinnasand AB and she completed many commissions including projects for various embassies and the Swedish Parliament.
