In 1955 Mr. and Mrs. Edward McCormick Blair commissioned the Chicago-based architectural firm Keck & Keck to design their home in Lake Bluff, Illinois. Furnished with pieces designed by George Fred Keck and William Keck as well as other archetypes of modernism, the home was deemed by the Architectural Record in 1957 as “a residence of exceptional distinction”.
