Absent Nature

In April of 2008, Wright hosted an exhibition of works by Israeli-born sculptor and designer, Arik Levy. The important exhibit titled Absent Nature, showcased designs inspired by natural forms and featured the artist's brilliant Fractal Cloud Lights alongside two dimensional and sculptural works. Reflecting on his vision for the exhibit, Levy wrote, “These pieces are an evolution of rock that also engages the absence of the parts that are removed. Every facet of these elements represents the absence of nature and the work appears as if from an alternative civilization”.
