Art is for Everybody
On June 2nd, 1982, a massive demonstration against nuclear weapons and the arms race was taking place in Central Park. For the occasion, Haring printed 20,000 copies of this poster featuring his trademark Radiant Baby engulfed in an atomic cloud. Using a pushcart to transport the hefty stack of paper to the park, Haring handed out the posters to fellow demonstrators for free. Although published in a large edition, few examples remain to this day.
