The collection of Mark Isaacson and Greg Nacozy captures a particular 1980s downtown New York aesthetic and lifestyle; as a founding member of the legendary Fifty/50 Gallery, Isaacson was a prominent collector of midcentury furniture, Italian art glass, 20th century photography, and African art. His partner, Greg Nacozy, has cared for this collection since Isaacson's death in 1993. Their eye for sensual formalism and the exuberance of life lived through art and objects is evident in this personal and thoughtful collection.

Included in this collection are early experimental works by European and American photographers, the erotic photographs of George Platt Lynes and Robert Mapplethorpe (who was a close friend of Nacozy's and Isaacson's and photographed catalogs for Fifty/50), icons of modern design by Jean Prouvé and Charles and Ray Eames, Italian art glass, midcentury ceramics and exceptional African masks.
