On March 23rd Wright opens an exhibition dedicated to the designs of the modernist architect, Gene Summers whose work is renowned for its transcendent sculptural essence, formal beauty and tactile sense of proportion, space and surface. In the mid-1980s Summers began creating furniture and sculpture out of his home and studio located in Saint-Paul-de-Vence and expertly made using lost wax casting, a precise process the pays homage to ancient and traditional modes of production. In just a few short years, Summers designed more than 100 works including seating, tables and objects such as candlesticks, vases and bowls.

In 2014 Wright partnered with the Estate of Gene Summers to become the exclusive resource for the Gene Summers Collection. This special exhibition will feature a selection of works from his extraordinary collection that offer a new and fresh perspective on functional design. Produced today in limited edition casts using the same high quality methods, his works can be purchased as shown or we can place an order with the foundry requesting one of several patinas.
