Finnish engineering and shipbuilding group, Wärtsilä acquired the Arabia ceramics company in 1947 and the Nuutajärvi-Notsjö glass factory in 1951. Franck designed for both companies during this time and his pieces are often marked with labels bearing both names.
Incised signature to underside of each example: [K. Franck Nuutajärvi Notsjö]. Signed with partial decal manufacturer's label to one example: [Arabia].
