The illustration for this work is by Geo Wyman for Lisa Ben's 'Hymn to Satan'. In addition to Tigrina, Lisa Ben (an anagram for "lesbian") was another of Edythe Eyde's pen names, which she primarily used when writing queer erotica.

Author and television host Richard Metzger has chronicled the counterculture for over 30 years, collecting artifacts of the underground to build an historic trove of subversive art, ephemera, and oddities. From a mysterious ritual item from the founding of Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth (TOPY), a cult and/or fan-club dedicated to Genesis P-Orridge, to an exquisite work by Harry Smith from the collection of Allen Ginsberg, Metzger's collection traverses multiple influential 20th century subcultures and movements, offering a dazzling—and sometimes outrageous—portrait of art and spirituality in revolt against the status quo.

Described in the Los Angeles Times as a "multimedia peddler of all things enigmatic, odd and conspiratorial," Metzger is the creator of the Disinformation brand, encompassing the Disinformation television series dubbed “a punk-rock '60 Minutes'." Known for his deep dives into conspiracy theories, the occult, radical politics, and general weirdness, Metzger is also the author of multiple books, including Book of Lies: The Disinformation Guide to Magick and the Occult.
