In celebration of Roche Bobois' 60th anniversary in 2019, the company commissioned Vasconcelos to create the Bombom series, a line of seating and decorative accessories.
This carpet is a smaller example than those put into production, and is believed to have been made for exhibition purposes such as furniture fairs. Sold with a detached manufacturer's label 'Isis J. Vasconelos Roche Bobois Paris'.
