We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Client Services, Receiving and Handling individual with experience and interest in art handling, inventory management, and client-facing logistics for our Hollywood location. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the care, logistics, and organization of fine art and design, with a strong eye for detail and a collaborative approach to supporting auction operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and coordinate with shippers and couriers to receive incoming property
• Assist with uncrating, unpacking, and debris removal
• Accurately identify, tag, and log all incoming artworks and design pieces
• Assess and document the condition of each item upon receipt
• Ensure all property is accounted for and properly entered into our inventory system, coordinating closely with client representatives
• Support the Consignment team with shipping logistics and property intake, especially for large or special collections
• Collaborate with the Handling team and provide support for handling within the warehouse and gallery installations and deinstallations
• Help organize and pull sold items for shippers and client pickups
• Respond to property-related inquiries as they arise
• Contribute to the preparation of condition reports and fulfill image requests in the lead-up to auctions
• Provide support during auction previews and on the day of sale as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of art handling experience in an auction house, gallery, museum, or similar arts environment
• Strong communication, organizational and writing skills, with sharp attention to detail
• Proficiency with standard computer programs and tools like Outlook and Slack
• Physical Requirements: lifting, moving, heavy objects (in excess of 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Team-oriented with a positive, flexible, and proactive mindset
• Committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity
• Prior auction industry experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually, depending on experience and skillset
