New York / Past Exhibition

Wright’s fall season opens with Art + Design, a sale dedicated to significant works of post war and contemporary art and compelling designs from the 20th century. Beginning September 9th, Art + Design auction highlights, approximately 50 lots, will be on view in our New York gallery. The exhibition will feature works on paper by Alexander Calder and Juan Gris and sculptures by Harry Bertoia and Yayoi Kusama. A rare coffee table, one of only a few known collaborative works attributed to Isamu Noguchi and the mosaic artist Jeanne Reynal, stands out among the design items. Finally, important works from the remarkable collection of Dr. Martyna Miskinis, including prints by Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns and Marc Chagall and paintings by Michelangelo Pistoletto, Alex Katz, Karel Appel and Walasse Ting are also featured in this exclusive exhibition.
