Designed in 1903 by Thomas Lee, this chair was patented by his friend and manufacturer, Harry Bunnell, in 1905. Impressed marks to back of each example: [U.S. Pat. July 18th, 1905 U.S. Pat. July 25, 1922 Mfd. by H.C. Bunnell Westport, N.Y.].
