Stools from the Gene Kelly Residence

This set of stools was ordered by Gene Kelly in 1985 to replace a set lost in a fire that razed the star’s Beverly Hills home the previous year. The original stools, ordered from Sam Maloof’s studio in 1954, are pictured here in this 1967 Los Angeles Times West magazine article featuring Kelly and his wife Jeanne at their bar.
