Pickup Locations Shipper List / Wright Shipper Authorization FAQs

All shipping is handled by third-party vendors. Works purchased from Rago, Wright, LAMA, or Toomey & Co. may ship from any of our three locations. To streamline the shipping process, we have partnered with Arta and The Packengers to provide shipping quotes and services directly through the checkout process. If your purchases qualify for any of these services, they will be available once you have checked out. These shipping services are provided as a courtesy and you are welcome to use any shipping vendor of your choice, select a shipper from one of lists linked below, or to collect your purchases yourself. 

Once you have made shipping or pickup arrangements, please let us know by completing our shipper authorization form.

Please note that if property is not released to a shipper with a bill of lading, sales tax will be added to your invoice unless you have a valid resale number on file.

Rago/Wright has partnered with a few shipping companys and logistic firms to provide a more seamless checkout process and to help you get your purchases safely and quickly. When these services are available, you will be provided direct access to these vendors in the checkout portal. 

Arta
Arta provides a full suite of global fulfillment services. From careful packing to insurance and customs clearance, they provide a seamless experience for a broad range of items and a variety of service levels including pack & ship, blanket wrap and fine art handling. Arta’s services are available at all of our locations.

The Packengers provides national and international packing and crating services for items of any size or weight. Located on the east and west coasts, The Packengers regularly collects property from Rago and LAMA.

Malca-Amit provides logistical solutions for jewelry, watches and other luxury items. Dealing with valuable assets, Malca-Amit offers secure, expedient delivery that meets the exacting requirements of the diamond, jewelry and watch industries and is available across our locations for some items in our Jewelry or Watch auctions.

What is the pickup address for auction purchases?

The majority of auction items can be collected from one of our warehouses in Lambertville, Chicago, or Los Angeles. The pickup location for your purchase(s) can be found on your invoice. This information is also included in the lot/item description found online.

Do I have to use one of your shipping partners?

No. You are welcome to use any shipper of your choice. We can recommend several shippers depending on location and our team is available to assist you in finding competitive quotes.

How do I request a shipping quote?

A shipping invoice will be emailed to you the day following the sale. It will include important information such as item dimensions, pickup and delivery addresses, as well as thumbnail images of the works that you may pass along to shippers for quotes. You are welcome to reach out to any shipper of your choice or we are happy to connect you with one or more of our recommended shippers. 

How long will it take to receive my item?

Transit times depend on distance and the shipper's availability. It is best to work directly with your shipper to obtain an approximate timeline for delivery. 

Are my items packed?

No. Items are not packed by our teams. Your shipper will need to include this service in their shipping plan.

Can I send you a shipping label?

No. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer packing or shipping as an in-house service. But, we are happy to connect you with a shipper who can assist you in this way. 

Does Rago/Wright operate a shipping service of its own that I can tag along with?

No. Rago/Wright's network of independent auction houses does not offer in house shipping, but we do partner with Arta and The Packengers whose services are integrated into the checkout process providing a seamless experience. 

Can I pay the auction house directly for the cost of shipping, along with the remainder of my invoiced balance?

Please pay your shipper directly for their services. Your shipper will send along payment instruction after you have accepted their offer to ship.

How long do I have to pick up my auction purchase? Does you offer storage?

We request property be collected within 14 days of the auction date and we offer a 30-day storage grace period to accommodate shipping schedules.

What happens if I do not pick up my item within the 30-day grace period?

Your purchase may be subject to additional storage fees, or relocation to an outside storage facility. If you require additional time to make arrangements, please contact us:

Can a friend pick up my purchase?

Yes. Please bear in mind that unless you have a resale certificate that can be used towards your purchase or your friend owns and operates a licensed and bonded shipping company, you will need to pay applicable state sales tax before we can release your purchase. This is just the same as if you walked into any other storefront and made a purchase in person; auction buys are no exception.

Can I use my own shipper?

Absolutely. Please note that we require a Bill of Lading or Shipping Invoice from your shipper at least 24 hours prior to collection. Please send required documentation to:
