Wright is pleased to announce the New York exhibition of highlights from our Art + Design auction taking place on February 26, 2015. Select works from the collection of Walter and Dawn Clark Netsch lead the art in the sale as well as what will be on view in our gallery at 980 Madison. Known largely as an architect and a politician, the Netsches are also recognized for their constant generosity and support of contemporary American art. They chose to donate majority of their private collection to public institutions, however, Wright is thrilled to contribute to their legacy by presenting notable works by artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, George Rickey and Jim Dine. Accompanying the Netsch collection will be other impressive unique works, prints and multiples in this auction; David Muller, Rosemarie Trockel and Blinky Palermo are among a few of the artists to be previewed in our New York location. Also on view in New York will be a selection of works by Harry Bertoia from an Important Chicago Collection, including several Sonambient Form and an exceptional Bush Form.
